Total earnings from Google AdSenseFirst published on August 24, 2014 - Last updated on April 04,2015
One of the major methods of making money online is Google AdSense.
The website http://webgilde.com informs us that prices can vary quite widely, depending of content quality. The limits described are between $0.25 to over $10 per one thousand clicks. From watching the Google video about Adsense, it appears that typically the cost is around $1 per thousand clicks.
Although the clicks per thousand clicks is not really that impressive, at the moment is one of the main methods I will give it a go. I applied on 25-June-2014 for an account and I was informed that it typically takes up to a week for review.
Probably because my website was so small (only one page at the time), I received the pre-approval in about an hour or two. I copied the script source at the top of this page. Until the website gets full approval for adsense, the add space was blank. I was informed it will take a while until google will analyze the type of adds to be placed on the website.
Two days later (27-June-2014), I was informed by mail that the website has received the full approval. Now the adds are visible. Originally the adds were aligned to the left side of the page, so I had to center them, to look better.
The configuration of ads is more complex than I imagined. The designer can choose different sizes, different colours, blending background, etc.
First of all, this is the page that attracts the biggest number of
visitors (apart for the main page), so it deserves special attention.
I will present a history of the earnings, month by month. Of course, the earnings on the current month will only be finalized next month.

At present (Dec 28, 2016), after a long period of total inactivity
(about 1.5 years) and some time when the website was down (in October
- November 2016), I am still earning a small commission from
Google Adsense. I also count the income from my other website,
www.hobbytronix.net. The total of earnings since the very beginning is
about AU$398. Soon I should receive another payment from Google.
The total generated income from Google AdSense until Apr 04,
is $174.95. This includes also revenue from YouTube (under $5.08) and
the other website http://www.hobbytronix.net.
Since December 2014 was the first month when the total revenue
has reached the
limit set for Australia ($100). I received the payment from Google on
Dec 22, 2014.
In December 2014, there were 5327 page views and 171 AdSense Clicks, the RPM was $23.20, the CTR was 3.21% and the CPC was $0.72.
Since December, I haven't performed any updates and you can see that
the interest of visitors decreased (the monthly ad click reward has
dropped from over $20 to under $5. It is a clear sign that one can not
leave a site to "take care of itself", otherwise the visitors will only
find old pages, which are of no interest to them. This is a good lesson
for me (and anybody else), when thinking we can purchase a websites

The highest income recorded for one day happened on Nov 28. 2014 and
it was $7.19, from 3 clicks. The highest price recorded for one click
was $3.25, on August 26, 2014.
I also recorded the first Google AdSense income made by my personal
website (address not valid anymore), with $1.65. Since then, I moved
the content to the new website http://www.hobbytronix.net
This is far beyond my expectations, since I thought that I would get
around one cent per click on the adds. All the visitors came from a
single website, where I joined the conversation.
I decided to remove the link from this website, to prevent people from abusing the forum. Probably any forum that is related to your website theme is a good place to become active.
One important thing to note is that while the website
hobbytronix.net has more visitors than centaminute.com, the reward from
Google AdSense is extremely small.
This is a clear indication that the visitors for Centaminute have an
interest in online earnings and they click on the ads significantly
more often than the visitors who visit a hobby website.
The income coming from www.youtube.com
on the other hand is more disappointing. My five monetized videos only
made a total of $4.26 over the lifetime of my channel (which I
started monetizing around June 2014. However, youtube can be
very useful, because despite the fact it does not make much money, I
can create some new videos that would direct the visitors to my
Since my videos don't have too many views, the estimated earnings
are very modest. I found out that for the month of August 2014, the
total estimated earnings is $0.96.
I had a quick look on youtube and I found this video about
